Fairy Tale Inspirations
Exploring places like the Fairy Glen, the Quiraing, and Fairy Pools, it is not too difficult to imagine the wee folk living here on the Isle of Skye. Firmly rooted in the landscape of the Highlands, belief in the daoine sìth, or fairy folk, has long been intertwined with the Gaidhealtachd - and is a source of magical inspiration for my work.
