There will be an ​Indigo Berry stall bursting with new temptations at the following events this year:-

Sat 11th and Sun 12th April Spring Craft Fair ​Skeabost House Hotel 10am-4pm both days.

Craft fairs are not only about the handcrafted goodies!
Many local craft events take place in village halls - often the hub of the community. These events are social ocassions bringing local people and visitors together.
Most events will also include an element of fundraising for a local charity (and some stalls are indeed run by community groups such as Rag Tag and Textile).
And of course, by choosing to buy something from one of the stallholders - you are supporting small local businesses
Skye & Lochalsh area is home to a host of creative people - from jewellery makers to potters, painters to photographers. ​The area enjoys a vibrant arts & crafts scene with regular events throughout the summer and on the run up to Christmas. These events are a great chance to explore the range of creative goodies designed and created in the local area - and to pick up thoughtful and unique gifts.
A Great Day Out
During the summer season, many craft fairs and events take place in village halls run by volunteers from the local community. As well as the craft stalls, they also offer a range of refreshments such as home baked cakes and scones, warming soups or light lunches.
