Labradorite, Wire Wrap Pendant, Silver Plated

This particular piece of labradorite is certainly not shy - it positively shimmers with iridescent colours—blues, greens and golds - and reminds me of insect wings.  I used constrasting silver plated wire with heamatite coloured wires in a design which was inspired by dragon fly wings in particular. 
An emotionally uplifting gemstone, Labradorite is a great choice to say—you can do it! It is believed to help focus the mind and to give you the energy you need to persevere and succeed. It also serves as a reminder to be thankful for what we have and to enjoy the simple pleasures of life — like watching dragon flies on the wing. 
 
Finished with a an 18 inch silver plated chain. A great wee gift - this pendant comes wrapped in tissue in an organza bag with information about the gemstone.
