Sterling Silver, Peach, Moonstone, Earrings

I wanted these earrings to be bold, classic, and feminine -  so I chose to frame moonstone with bold, textured sterling silver ovals. Moonstone - as its name suggests is associated with the moon, the tides,  and female powers such as intuition and creativity. In some cultures it is regarded as a magical and holy gemstone and is often used as a ‘dream stone’. Here I was inspired particularly by the colours of the sands at my favourite place on my island home - the Coral Beaches near Dunvegan.
