Opalina Pendant, Rose gold plated

This wire wrapped necklace whispers the waves with its blue green opalina stone taking centre stage. Sometimes called the 'Stone of Peace' technically Opalina is not a classified gem but the tradename Opalized Chrysocolla / Peruvian Common Opal. And that gorgeous blue-green colour is caused by trace amounts of copper (from chrysocolla) or organic compounds trapped inside the stone as it formed. Not surpisingly, with those oceanic colours, it is believed to have calming qualities and encourages relaxation. And breathe!
