Handcrafted, Sterling Silver, Fossil, Ammonite, Pendant
£85.00Price
This necklace is guaranteed to be a conversation starter and would make a very special gift! The Isle of Skye is well known for its fossils and I find them fascinating.
This piece began with making a mould from a fossil piece and then working with silver clay. In the kiln, the binder in the clay is burned off, leaving sterling silver and after a tumble and shine the pendant was sent for hallmarking at Edinburgh Assay Office.
Finished with sterling silver cord ends and clasp, the pendant hangs from a black suede cord approx 24 inches in length. It comes to you gift boxed with information about the making process.
