Handcrafted Silver Earrings with Jasper
A touch of monochrome understated style - these earrings combine silver with speckled greys and smoke tones in the jasper.
As with all my silver pieces, they began life as a lump of silver clay. The creating process involved texturing, cutting, sanding, drying and drilling. Once I was pleased with the result, they were fired. The binder is burnt off in the kiln, leaving the 925 silver which I then sent to be hallmarked at Edinburgh Assay Office.
These earrings are easy to wear, hanging from sterling silver ear wires. Drop length 2.5cm
They come to you gift boxed along with information about the creative process and the gemstone and tips on Caring for Your Silver and Gemstone Jewellery.
